I found this very enlightening (and hilarious) because I found myself agreeing to most of what you said. I'm glad that I'm not as into it as I was but it explains why I get seduced into fandoms that fuck me over.

ETA: Speaking of which, I have never been witness to the life and quick death of love for a show like what happened in Vikings. I'm sad because I was loving that show until the last few eps. Anyway, this leads to my question(s): 1) Your opinion on the show and what happened, 2) did something like that happen to you? What fandom and why?

Yeah, I definitely found my myself laughing and agreeing a lot (and I didn't failout- I've stuck through out of the sheer stubborness that this show wouldn't beat me.)

Kinda sad I missed the call for questions though (where do those happen anyway?), 'cause nobody asked what I've been trying to figure out: how the [censor] do I move on when this thing is over?

Sorry for the late reply! We usually do a call for questions on our twitter account and sometimes on our tumblrs. In general though, we're always open to questions and will usually just save them up for the right episode!

I think we've all spent most of our fannish lives trying to figure out how to move on when [fandom x] is over.
