I finally watched and listened and, dear MK, I was in the same boat almost with Hot Fuzz - a New Orleans accent makes it sound like "Hot Fudge" and as a result I didn't watch the movie until about a year later because I thought it sounded dumb. I just felt you needed to know you weren't alone.
