Welcome back to yet another week of /reporter-y goodness with [personal profile] thehoyden as a special guest. This week we talk about how our tentative quality rating on NCIS this week, discuss keeping boys as pets (what else are you going to do with them anyway?), yammer on about Sherlock, and discuss our ongoing Why Are We Even Dating You Anymore relationship with Hawaii 5-0.

To tune in, click here!

Also! Don't forget that next week we will be recording our first ever Author Talk with [personal profile] thehoyden, so please send us questions you've always wanted to ask her -- about life, the universe, writing, what her hopes and dreams are, why she hangs out with us losers -- to our twitter account or email us at slashreport at gmail.com.

moonfoot: Eun-chan and Han-kyul from the show, Coffee Prince. (Coffee Prince - otp-est otp)
From: [personal profile] moonfoot
Hi, hi! I've listened to all slash reports within the past two weeks while doing a giant art project and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. Also, I have now watched Suits and am currently watching The Good Wife 'cause of y'all. So thanks for that. ;) Anyhoo.

Okay, so I totally understand mklutz's Kdrama rule and I generally follow it myself, seeing as I've only ever finished three Kdramas ever and started about fifteen. -__- Nevertheless, one of my favorite shows ever in the world is a Kdrama called Coffee Prince, which, if you have not heard of this show, then someone somewhere is seriously failing in recommending quality stuff to you guys. It is seriously one of the greatest things ever. It is about this tomboy (Eun-chan) who works a lot of jobs to help her family out, who meets this rich dude (Han-kyul) on one of her jobs, and he mistakes her for a boy. His mother and grandmother have been setting him up on dates which he hates, so in order to avoid them he pays Eun-chan to pretend to be his boyfriend. Amazingness ensues, stuff happens and then he eventually starts up a coffee shop and only hires attractive boys...including Eun-chan. XD She doesn't correct him because she really needs the money and kind of doesn't care anyway. Well, at first. Beause then they fall in love and Han-kyul still thinks she's a guy. It is magical. Like, I expected it to cop out and...well, I don't want to spoil it, but it totally doesn't cop out. It plays out pretty much exactly how I wanted it to, only it is probably a hundred times better than you are imagining. It's truly a thing of beauty.

Also, Kim Jae-wook from Antique is in it, and he makes waffles and is pretty much the lead girl's bff and it is beautiful. That alone is reason enough to watch it. And now I am going to stop rambling on about a show that you may have already seen. :3
