Pack a picnic basket and some strawberry wine, because we are taking you guys down to the riverside in our dad's pick-up truck so we can say things like, "Just the tip — just the tip." That's right, /reporters, it's first times and first fandoms for everybody! MK waxes poetic about her seduction by Moon Princess Magic and Pru confesses her tawdry assignation with the agents down in the basement of the FBI.

Our RSS feed can be found over here or you can follow us on twitter for even more inanity during the week.

Go! Grab this episode despite the horrifying, mind-scaring summary!

There's even more horror to the furry pterodactyl porn saga. A year later, two of my sisters, the friend we tortured by reading him the SLO fic, and I were all in a taxi on our way to drink a gay bar out of business (you know, as you do). He was trying to explain to my sisters what a terrible person I am, and he mentioned the story, and the furry porn. Our cab driver was one of approximately two native English-speaking cab drivers in the city, and he was listening to our story. Not only had he seen the porn? HE HAD OPINIONS ABOUT IT. He told us about those opinions at length.

I lead a charmed and terrible life, you guys. There are things I've read, seen, heard, and done that cannot be unread, unseen, unheard, or undone.

The worst part? I still regret nothing.

Also: 1st fandom - Mortal Kombat 2 (age 7).
1st fandom I wrote for - Mortal Kombat 2, terrible action-adventure gen that was never posted because this was written before my parents would let me on the Internet by myself. I hand-wrote it in my spiral notebook that I used for school. (It was so face-meltingly terrible, omg)
1st slash fandom - Digimon (age 12).
1st het fandom - Harry Potter (age 15).

I just finished last week's episode today and holy crap that SLO entry. But with the whole Pinboard and boypussy thing? Maybe a bunch of us took to searching it and that's how it came to his attention? Which makes me shudder when it comes to bugcock, since I so searched that shit. Or who knows?

Sailor Moon was my first fandom as well. My favorite fic was "Royal Flush" by Alicia Blade. I'm a little scared to read it now, because I have a feeling it doesn't hold up, but this was the first fic I printed out, because I wanted it with me forever and always.

As for X-Files, I'm pretty sure all I read was smut in there and I can't remember it now, but someone had a links/website for all the situations that Mulder and Scully were trapped together with UST with some fuck or die scenarios sprinkled on top. Good times.

sharing time

a.k.a. I don't have a fannish twitter account so I'm posting this here instead because ~I just have to let it out:

My first fandom: The Phantom of the Opera musical, back in the days of yahoo groups. We called them "phanfics."

First encounter with slash: in the days of online personality quiz proliferation, I clicked on one (on quizilla) with the title, "What is your Lord of the Rings slash pairing?" My parents had read the Lord of the Rings books to me when I was a child, so I knew the characters. I clicked various radio buttons, and the quiz announced to me, "You are Legolas/Gimli!"
"Huh? I am like both of them?" I thought. Some ill-advised googling led to my reading a rather horrifying smutfic. I'm still not sure why that didn't put me off of slash for good and all.
